I am thrilled to share some exciting news from the legendary game developer, MicroProse! They have just announced the development of their first entry to the MSFS Market the B-17G Flying Fortress for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024. This is part of their new Heritage Valor Collection, which promises to bring high-quality, historically accurate WWII-themed aircraft to the flight sim community.

Why This Release is Special

The B-17G Flying Fortress – The Queen, is the first product in this exciting collection. This late-1942 B-17G model is one of the most advanced iterations of the iconic Flying Fortress. For those who may not know, the B-17 first flew in 1935, with a total of 12,731 units produced during its operational period. Today, only a few B-17s are still flying, making this virtual release even more significant for aviation enthusiasts.
