Microsoft released their new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Trailer during their Xbox Showcase and I am so hyped!

Hey, fellow aviators and flight sim enthusiasts!

I am beyond excited to share some thrilling news with you all – We have an official date for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and it will launch November 19th! Now this is not just another update; it’s the most ambitious consumer flight simulator ever undertaken. Microsoft and Asobo Studios have truly outdone themselves, and I can’t wait to dive into all the new features and improvements once it launches

Why This Release is a Game-Changer

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is set to kick it up another notch and revolutionize the world of flight simulation yet again. It’s designed to leverage the latest advancements in hardware, simulation, cloud computing, machine learning, graphics, and gaming. Here are some of the standout features that have me (and probably you!) buzzing with excitement:

1. Cutting-Edge Technology: The integration of the latest simulation technologies means we can expect unparalleled realism and performance, I can not wait to put my multi-cores to use!
2. Cloud Computing and Machine Learning: These innovations will enhance everything from weather systems to real-time traffic, making the simulation more immersive than ever. We are getting a smaller download file size this time around.
3. Stunning Graphics: Get ready for jaw-dropping visuals that will make you feel like you’re truly soaring through the skies. The trailer really doesn’t do justice to what this will be like in Virtual Reality.
4. Career Mode: Beyond just flying, MSFS 2024 allows you to pursue a full aviation career. Whether you dream of being an airline captain or a bush pilot, this simulator has got you covered. While I do not need a reason to fly, I can assume some do, and some would love a goal or mission to shoot towards and I think this will be it.
5. VR Integration: Yes, VR is included! I have to include this because so many have asked and were unsure and well, I am theVRpilot!

Available on Game Pass from Day One

Great news for Game Pass subscribers – Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be available on Game Pass from day one! I will likely purchase it directly from the Microsoft Store. This makes it incredibly accessible for everyone to jump in and start flying without any delays. It will also be available via Steam, but again for VR reasons, I chose to run light and not want MSFS to load through Steam and Steam VR.
